Senior Group Treasury Manager f/m/d

As Senior Group Treasury Manager, you actively contribute to the financial resilience and future success of the AVL Group. In a global business environment, you assess and manage financial risks, design financing and risk mitigation strategies, and serve as a trusted advisor to our international subsidiaries on complex treasury-related topics. Leveraging your deep financial expertise and strategic perspective, you help shape and continuously improve our global treasury landscape, ensuring efficient and forward-looking treasury operations across the organization.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify, assess, and manage Group-wide financial risks, with a particular focus on liquidity, interest rate, and foreign exchange exposures
• Support international key customer projects and tenders, with a focus on foreign exchange risk management, guarantees, and cash flow management
• Develop and implement appropriate hedging strategies for individual entities, projects, and the AVL Group as a whole
• Actively contribute to treasury projects and day-to-day treasury operations
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, international AVL entities, banks, and financing partners
• Further develop Group-wide liquidity and guarantee planning processes, as well as treasury reporting
• Drive the enhancement, optimization, and digitalization of the Treasury Management System (TMS), including related processes and interfaces
• Support the management of Group financing activities and the structuring of intercompany and external financing solutions

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed Education (University, University of Applied Sciences, or comparable) with a focus on Finance, Controlling, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field 
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in Corporate Treasury or in a finance function within an internationally operating company
• Proven expertise in Group financing, liquidity management, foreign exchange and guarantee management, as well as in the development and enhancement of digital treasury processes
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, particularly IFRS; experience with treasury management systems (e.g., ION Treasury) and SAP S/4HANA is an advantage
• Experience working on international projects and collaborating with global stakeholders
• Self-motivated, structured, and results-oriented working style, combined with strong team spirit and a high level of commitment
• Business fluent knowledge in German and English

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €60,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
