Senior Embedded Software Engineer f/m/d

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of firmware and software for aerosol and particle measurement devices (microcontroller, embedded Linux, FPGA, CoM/SoM)
• Software requirements management with product management and the development team over the entire product life cycle
• Design and implementation of automated unit, integration and device tests
• Maintenance and expansion of the DevOps system and release management
• Continuous improvement of software quality and security

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed technical studies (University of Applied Sciences, Technical University) with a focus on computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the development of firmware and software
• Sound knowledge of C and C++ languages as well as embedded Linux development (Yocto knowledge an advantage)
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Artifactory, Xray and SonarCube desirable
• Several years of experience in the development of mechatronic systems and measuring devices (knowledge of electronics desirable)
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming including software design patterns and best practices
• Good knowledge of English

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €61,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
