Lead Engineer for Model Based Validation & Design Verification Plan (DVP) f/m/d

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technical management of development projects and implementation of corresponding test plans
• Planning of function development, creation of endurance tests and definition of test scopes (DVP) with detailed test specifications
• Resource planning and qualification of the international team in Graz, Hungary and India
• Evaluation of test results in the areas of mechanics, thermics and electrics, including alignment with product requirements to validate reliability
• Model-based system development and simulation of powertrain systems, including vehicle simulation
• Analysis of system behavior with model-based systems engineering and development of recommendations
• Development and adaptation of modeling methodology for production and improvement of verification and validation methods
• Budget and cost responsibility in sub-projects
• Support in the acquisition of development projects
• Analysis of new technologies including research results

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed studies (University of Technology / University of Applied Sciences) in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or similar
• Several years of professional experience in the development of vehicles and electric powertrains, including solid knowledge of thermal and HVAC systems
• Experience in requirements management according to automotive standards 
• Excellent analytical and strategic skills to address complex challenges
• Quick conflict resolution and sound decision making skills
• Entrepreneurial thinking and result orientation
• Excellent written and spoken English skills and strong communication skills

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €65.000,00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
