Lead Engineer Battery Verification & Validation f/m/d

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical management and coordination of the lead team, including resource planning
- Responsibility for the planning, implementation and technical target achievement of verification and validation tests in client projects (function, deadline, costs, quality) in accordance with the agreed test plan and product design verification plan
- Development and establishment of processes, standards and methods
- Central contact person for internal and external testing partners, offering technical support during project acquisition and outlining project content and efforts
- Ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines from the product development process, including technical review and approval of documents and work results
- Developing technical solutions in client projects, including independent decision-making and implementation
- Monitoring technology and methodology trends, maintaining and expanding team expertise and representing the team at professional events through presentations and publications
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed studies (University of Technology, University of Applied Sciences or comparable) with a focus on mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, control engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in battery development, focusing on verification & validation
- Sound knowledge of verification, validation and reliability of batteries as well as electrified powertrains in a series environment, including global standards and guidelines in the field of battery testing
- Experience in project management, entrepreneurial thinking and sales talent as well as strong team skills and solution orientation
- Analytical and structured way of working, decision-making and implementation skills as well as customer orientation and confident demeanor
- Willingness to travel a maximum of 50 percent based on mutual agreement
- Very good knowledge in English and German

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €70,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
