Global Category Manager / Strategic Purchasing for PCBAs f/m/d (Dept.: TPM)

As Global Category Manager for PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies) and PCBA components, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing cutting-edge sourcing strategies for one of the most critical categories in the industry. This dynamic position is ideal for a results-driven professional with a "can do" mindset and the ability to thrive in a matrix organization while collaborating with key business partners. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Definition as well as cross-functional coordination and execution of sourcing category strategy incl. supplier strategies for global category PCBAs and PCBA components
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the PCBA supply chain
• Ongoing optimization of the respective category including supplier base in the global environment, ensuring the TCO approach, compliance requirements, quality and securing delivery dates
• Identify and manage risks within the PCBA supply chain incl. development of contingency plans to ensure supply continuity during disruptions
• Pro-active and close cooperation with the respective departments and regional procurement teams to ensure consistent execution of the global category strategy (cross-functional and cross-regional)
• Independent preparation and execution of source-to-contract processes incl. market analysis, tenders and negotiations of (global) contracts
• Management of the global supplier portfolio incl. their sustainable development
• Controlling and reporting of purchasing projects by means of standardized KPI

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed commercial/technical education (University or University of Applied Sciences, or comparable) with a focus on business administration, supply management, economics & law, industrial engineering, ideally in combination with electrical engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a similar role specifically focused on electronics or PCBAs 
• Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) are advantageous
• Experience in working with international matrix organizations and multicultural project teams
• Experience with operating in an SAP environment
• Team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact confidently and effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Ability to analyze complex data, derive actionable insights, and develop effective global sourcing strategies
• Business fluent knowledge in German and English

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €66,500.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
