Development Engineer EMC/Antenna f/m/d

In the area of Electrics and Electronics we are looking for personalities who are looking for a challenge in the area of electrification to advance the E/E specialist team Physical E/E System and EMC together with us. We are one of the fastest growing areas at AVL and are part of all safety critical products. 

We strive to provide the best solutions to our customers, especially in the new areas of electromobility, hydrogen-powered mobility as well as distributed energy supply and industrial applications for e.g. hydrogen or synthetic fuel production.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing and intergating antenna systems in ongoing development and research projects
• Implementation of all parts of EMC management:
  • From design to validation in the areas of vehicle, hydrogen-powered mobility as well as decentralized energy supply and industrial applications for e.g. hydrogen or synthetic fuel production, including measurements, solution development, supplier coaching and trouble shooting in the project 
• EMC and antenna simulation in customer projects and research projects
• Further development of standardized methods and processes for permanent adaptation and optimization of technical development
• Active cooperation and direct communication with international customers
• Worldwide and interdepartmental cooperation within the entire AVL Group

YOUR PROFILE:

• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, telematics or a similar field (e.g.: physics, mechatronics)
• Knowledge of antenna development and EMC in the automotive industry as well as in the industrial area of electrical/electronic (E/E) systems 
• Enjoyment of complex discussions and finding solutions, both in a team and independently in the field of antenna development and EMC

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €49.700,00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
