Department Manager Incoming & Internal Logistics f/m/d

As the Department Manager for Incoming and Internal Logistics, you will drive cross-functional initiatives to boost efficiency and enhance collaboration with external logistics providers. Working closely with key business areas such as Inventory Management, Order Fulfillment, Project Management, Purchasing, and Sales, you will successfully implement critical projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the team responsible for managing incoming and outgoing deliveries, including overseeing temporary labor staff
- Coordinate and oversee the logistics and fulfillment processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products
- Manage relationships with third-party logistic partners for inbound logistics, fulfillment, packing, outbound shipments, and inventory warehousing
- Act as the primary contact for logistics-related issues, providing regular updates to the operations team and ensuring alignment with overall business goals to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact
- Collaborate with SCM Management to plan and implement the strategic direction of the Inhouse Logistics Department while ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental standards
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance through KPIs, generate management reports, and serve as the SAP key user for outbound logistics
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed education (University or University of Applied Sciences, University of Technology, or comparable) with a focus on Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Several years of experience in distribution and logistics/Supply Chain Management within the electronics, automotive or related industries, ideally with a proven track record in leadership roles
- Experience in working with international matrix organizations and multicultural project teams
- Team player with strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, preferably experienced in communicating and negotiating with third-party logistic partners
- Ability to act like a change-agent who motives teams to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with operating in an SAP environment
- Business fluent knowledge in German and English

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €95,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
