As “Battery” team leader for the area of “Verification, Validation & Reliability”, you will be responsible in particular for test management, engineering and commissioning as well as “DVP & Validation” coordination and the implementation of root cause analyses. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leadership of the Battery Team in the field of “Verification, Validation & Reliability”
• Disciplinary and technical leadership of the team, including responsibility for the training and development of employees
• Further development and implementation of processes, standards and methods in the specialist team
• Technical responsibility for development projects in the area of “Verification, Validation & Reliability” with a focus on “Battery” and “Electrical Systems”, including release recommendations for product development
• Deciding on the project assignment of team members 
• Planning and monitoring operating accounts, investments and the workload of the specialist team
• Leading customer meetings for project discussion and acquisition
• Supporting project planning and providing technical advice for sales and product lines
• Monitoring technological trends and new methods on the market
• Developing and implementing concepts to increase efficiency
• Preparation of specialist presentations and publications as well as representation at specialist conferences and congresses

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed university degree (TU, University of Applied Sciences or comparable) with a focus on mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, control engineering or related engineering or natural sciences
• At least 5 years of management experience with a cooperative management style as well as sound expertise in the verification, validation and reliability of batteries and electrified powertrains in a series production environment
• Entrepreneurial thinking and sales talent paired with the ability to work in a team, creativity and a sense of responsibility
• Strong analytical, structuring, decision-making and implementation skills
• Confident demeanor and experience in working and communicating with local and global teams
• Customer orientation and sensitivity to the wishes and criticism of internal and external customers
• Willingness to travel
• Very good knowledge in German and English

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €95.000,00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
