Buyer Service Purchasing f/m/d

In this role, you will be the interface between external testing institutes and AVL. You will work on exciting, innovative development projects in the automotive sector and cooperate closely with external service providers in the field of test field and testing with a focus on battery and fuel cell.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In this varied position, you will be responsible for purchasing testing tasks for the validation of products in the automotive sector
• You evaluate and develop supplier nominations for projects with regard to cost, delivery time, quality
• You request capacities from potential suppliers and coordinate feasibility tests with the engineering department
• You identify new service providers, conduct price and condition negotiations and are responsible for contract design
• Following the AVL purchasing processes, you ensure the improvement of the commercial and technical framework conditions for the purchase of testing services
• You demonstrate a sense of responsibility with internal and external customers and achieve best results with your negotiation skills 

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed technical and/or business education (HTL/HAK) in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, industrial management or business engineering
• Several years of professional experience in the field of service purchasing, supply chain or similar, in a technical environment
• Professional experience in the automotive sector - ideally in the test field area would be an advantage
• You are familiar with MS-Office and also have experience in working with SAP
• Very good communication skills 
• Ability to work in a team, creativity
• High problem solving competence and solution orientation
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €49,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
