Business Development Manager Battery f/m/d

 

Are you ready to play an active role in shaping the future of electric mobility? As Business Development Manager for our Battery Testing Solutions division, you are a key pillar of our sales organization. You will master challenges in the field of battery R&D and act as an indispensable contact person for our customers. We look forward to getting to know you!   

  

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Technical sales for battery test systems
  • Advising customers worldwide on questions relating to battery test field design
  • Organization and implementation of customer presentations at the Graz site
  • Strategic expansion of our business areas through targeted use of our customer relationships
  • Monitoring of sales activities (opportunities outlook) and regular reporting on the status of key activities
  • Support of marketing and sales activities for effective market positioning

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

  • Completed economic or technical-commercial education (University of Applied Sciences, Technical University or comparable) with focus on electrical engineering, information technology, industrial engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in technical sales 
  • Experience in battery development and battery ecosystem
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering, energy storage and energy management is an advantage
  • Strong communication and intercultural skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 25 percent (focus on Europe, North America and Asia) 
  • Business fluent in English, other languages (German, French, etc.) are an advantage

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €72,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
