Assistant IT Service Center f/m/d
Parental leave replacement
Join our dedicated team and help ensure that enquiries, handover processes and workflows are efficiently coordinated within the AVL IT Service Center. In this varied role, you will work closely with our IT team and through your customer-focused approach, make a significant contribution to the high quality of our in-house IT support.
The position is limited in time as part of a parental leave replacement and is assigned full-time.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Central service and coordination hub for all internal IT Service Center matters
- Coordination of appointments and processes between users and IT technicians
- Organisation of hardware handover and returns (e.g. laptops, mobile devices)
- Management of the IT Service Center warehouse, maintenance of accessory and material stocks as well as distribution of IT accessories
- Administrative and organisational support for user changes, onboarding/offboarding processes and associated documentation
- Proactive involvement in optimizing workflows, handover processes and service offerings of the IT Service Center
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed vocational training (Apprenticeship as an Office Assistant, Secondary Grammar School, Secondary Technical College) with a focus on commercial or technical subjects
- Initial experience in customer service, reception or administration is advantageous
- A keen interest in IT and digital tools, as well as very good knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
- Professional and friendly demeanor combined with strong service orientation
- High reliability, resilience and composure in dynamic situations
- Structured, independent, and team-oriented working style
- Very good knowledge in German and English
- Based at the Hans List-Platz site; working hours are aligned with the IT Service Center´s operating hours (Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 4 pm; Friday, 8 am to 1:30 pm)

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €41,300.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
