Application Engineer Electrification and Power Electronics f/m/d

In this role, you will use the latest measurement techniques to develop, optimize and validate electric powertrains and support customers and internal teams. This is crucial for quality assurance and increasing efficiency in the research and development of electric drives (for vehicles and industrial applications).

You will be part of the application team, which is also continuously developing in the field of combustion measurement technology, optical combustion diagnostics and flow measurement technology. As a link between test bench and development engineers you ensure the best possible measurement technology solutions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of measurement systems
• Data analysis and evaluation
• Coordination with development teams and customers
• Fault diagnosis and optimization
• Technical documentation
• Innovation and further development
• Test planning and execution

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed education (technical university, university of applied sciences or similar) with a focus on electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics or a comparable study program
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the development of electric powertrains
• In-depth knowledge in the field of high-voltage and power electronics as well as experience in the development of electric powertrains
• Experience with measuring instruments and methods such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, data acquisition systems, etc.
• Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Willingness to travel for business up to 25 percent

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €52,300.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
