Technical Expert Testing

The Technical Expert has specific skills / knowledge in at least one specific area within the technological field of testing (e.g. Electrification, Conditioning, Automation etc.). The Technical Expert has to be involved in challenging projects to take over responsibility for specific task to ensure the application of the appropriate methodology, based on best practices derived in projects performed as well as latest findings from ITS. In consequence, the Technical Expert is responsible to keep both his own level of knowledge and the level of the entire organization (Test Factory) "up to date" by participation of trainings, product presentations etc. The appropriate approach to share the know-how within the Test Factory has to be aligned between the Technical Expert and the Skill Team Leader responsible.

Responsibilities:

• Technical supervisor, Know-how development and transfer.
• Support during acquisition.
• Technical support of other skill teams.
• Expertise on technical surveys & assessments.
• Patent queries within his technology field.
• Internal and external representation of his/her technology field.
• Compliance with the standards and processes for his/her technology field valid within AVL Setup of PC systems for testbeds including installation of mandatory test bed software.

Profile:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering; Masters Degree preferred, Electrical and/or Automation and Controls Engineering preferred.
• Ten years of experience in testing activities.
• Good/deep knowledge of testing technologies, testing methodologies as well as ITS product portfolio.
• Demonstrated customer care skills.
