Job title:  Embedded Software Expert

AVL is the world's largest independent company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains (hybrid, combustion engines, transmission, electric drive, batteries and software) for passenger cars, trucks and large engines.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in our embedded software development projects for biggest automotive manufacturers,
• Design, implementation and verification of embedded ECU software, including Network-communication, OS, Memory-management, Bootloader, etc.,
• Negotiating technical requirements with internal partners / external customers.

YOUR PROFILE:

• BSc/MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or similar,
• Min. 3 yrs. experience in embedded software development (automotive is advantage),
• In-depth knowledge of C language and embedded communication standards (e.g. SPI, I2C, CAN),
• Basic knowledge in electrotechnics/measurement theory, embedded operating systems (embedded safety is advantage),
• Fluency in written and spoken English (German is advantage),
• Good communication/presentation skills, strong team player.
