E-drive Functional Safety Function Developer Engineer

Responsibilities

• Functional Safety algorithm development for inverter control unit with Matlab/Simulink
• Concept and requirement definition of state-of-the-art automotive technologies according to standards for electric vehicles
• Testing directly on the dedicated control unit and/or vehicle

Profile

• Degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, informatics (having MSc degree is an advantage)
• Experience in e-Drive systems or in relevant standards (IEC 61508, ISO 26262) or in safety development methods (e.g. Risk Analysis, Functional Safety Concept)
• At least intermediate, active English knowledge (German is an advantage)
• Communication and team skills, high analytical and conceptual skills
• Driving license (category B) is an advantage
