Senior Development Engineer Cooling Components

Note: Resident Engineer Position in Anhui province, China.

Resposibilities:

• BEV/PHEV/ EREV cooling components development& project management, incl. cooling hoses, bracket etc.
• Ensure development deliverables as per timing and technical requirement                            
• Cooling components dev., including geometry, material, function, performance and etc. ; all development relevant tasks, including material testing, component level testing, supplier in house simulation & testing, vehicle road testing and etc.          
• CAD data generation and release, GD&T study, material requirement, component DMU check, component DFM feasibility study, BOM creation and etc;for change management, generate change requests and track status as per project timing
• Support Lead engineer on supplier nomination process, including supplier evaluation, technical concept review and etc.
• Bridging with Volkswagen Germany HQ R&D, development supplier, component engineer, DMU engineer, performance engineer, chassis engineer and etc.      

Profile:

• Experience on cooling system components development and program management
• Experience in VW project management
• Familiar with cooling system components requirement, like cooling hose/pipe, QC,   adapter,  check valve, thermostat valves, T-sensor etc.
• Good communication skills and team spirit
• Bachelor degree or above in mechatronics, power and energy engineering, mechanical engineering or other related fields.
• At least 3 years experience; understand VW development process, familiar with CAD tools like CATIA etc.
• Fluent in English is must, German is a plus.
