Vehicle SW-Functions Validation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced engineer to support advanced vehicle experimentation and validation activities within the areas of powertrain (mHEV /PHEV /BEV), thermal management and electronic functions. The position covers the complete testing lifecycle, including test execution, data analysis, issue resolution and release support.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Vehicle experimentation and validation.

• Powertrain systems: engines, transmissions, cooling and thermal management.

• mHEV/PHEV Fuel system testing and homologation-related validation.

• Automotive electronics and ECU testing.

• Plan, coordinate and execute vehicle testing and validation activities.

• CAN bus analysis and data acquisition.

• Functional testing and validation of vehicle features.

• Root cause analysis and problem-solving.

• SW/HW updates and ECU flashing.

• Technical reporting and release documentation

• Contribute to process automation, data analysis and reporting solutions using digital tools and AI technologies.

• Participate in domestic and international test campaigns when required.

YOUR PROFILE:

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, Electronics or related Engineering discipline

• Proven experience in vehicle validation, testing or experimentation activities

• Solid technical knowledge of powertrain systems, cooling systems, fuel systems, and vehicle electronics.

• Experience with automotive development and diagnostic tools such as CANoe, INCA, MDA, ODIS or equivalent.

• Programming or scripting experience (Python, CANoe-CAPL) is highly valued.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Professional level of English and Spanish. German is considered an advantage.

• Availability for occasional travel and on-site testing activities.
