Project Management and Design Engineer

Joining the AVL Iberica Team, we are searching for highly motivated young engineers with a solid background in engineering fundamentals and a good level of English and Spanish to join our team in Barcelona.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position combines project management and design activities across different areas of the powertrain. The main responsibilities include:

• Management of design documentation and activity planning.
• Deadline management and follow-up of project activities.
• Coordination of supplier and client activities.
• Reporting and presentation of project progress.
• Management of design databases and 3D files.
• Analysis and handling of 3D CAD components .

YOUR PROFILE:

• Engineering degree; Master's degree is a plus.
• Good level of English.
• Experience with 3D CAD software such as CATIA and CREO is valuable.
• Knowledge of powertrain systems and internal combustion engines is valuable.
• Strong sense of responsibility, goal orientation, and teamwork skills.
• Participation in extracurricular activities such as Formula Student will be valued.
• Programming or mathematical modeling knowledge will be valued.
• 0-4 years of experience in the automotive sector.
