Debug Engineer Hybrid Powertrain

Exciting opportunity to join AVL Iberica in a new project in Portugal. AVL is looking for:

• Powertrain debug engineers: Assist production / end-of-line testing / debug of new e-mobility components for automotive (inverter, e-machine...)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the local production unit in the launch of new automotive products
• Work on the validation / verification / debug of these components
• Integrate the AVL network of experts in e-mobility
• Be the bridge with the expert team in Spain for local debugging

YOUR PROFILE:

• Education: Mechanical / Automotive / Electric / Electronic or similar Engineering degree

• Masters in Automotive Engineering or related subjects desirable

• Provided understanding of power electronics and internal combustion engines

• Participation in formula student or extra-curricular activities related with automotive highly desirable

• Competences acquired on ETAS INCA, AVL Concerto, Vector Canalyzer, AVL Concerto, AVL Creta, DDT2000; Matlab simulink or similar tools are appreciated

• Portuguese and English required

• Spanish or French valued positively

• Driving license B (passenger cars) mandatory

• Any previous calibration or validation experience in automotive will be considered a plus
