Service Engineer

Service Engineer maintains, calibrates and repairs AVL products, usually on customer's site.
Service Engineer delivers professional and customer oriented services according to defined processes and contributes to continuous improvement of products and services by providing feedback (e.g. service reports, feedback provided to quality/business units).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main Duties:

• To contribute to achieving maximum customer satisfaction (by professional performance, appropriate customer communication and taking care of customer requests)
• To support achieving high and sustainable profitability (by efficient working)
• To support increasing the service business (by forwarding information on cross-selling potential and leads to responsible persons)
• To help delivering high quality service and providing feedback to the management and quality)

Operational Tasks: 

• Prepare and support the preparation of (own) service activities
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance as well as calibrations based on available guidelines (depending on skill level)
• Document services performed by using defined templates (calibration protocols, service reports)
• User support (depending on skill level)
• Provide useful feedback on optimization potentials, customers, products and services to management, support organization, product and quality management

YOUR PROFILE:

• Technical education in electrics or mechanics
• Secondary technical college/university of applied sciences/university of technology
• English skills (B2 or higher, AVL Skills Rating level 2)
• Willingness to travel, approx. 80%
