Service Engineer

[General Job Description]

• The engineer will be responsbile for supporting service activities for the GLI system in the Gyeongnam region
• In the short term, the role includes addisting with the commissioning of ne wsystems for the HMC Ulsan sutomer, as well as providing continuous service support before and after final acceptance.
• In addition, as a regional engineer in Gyeongnam, the individual will report on-site conditions to the Skill Team Leader and receive necessary support, while proactively carrying out GLI serice and maintenance activities.
• The role also involves ongoing communication with the GLI headquarters regarding technical support.

[Main duties / Operational task / Responsibilities]

• Commissioning, Service, Maintenance, Technical Reporting, Technical Ownership, Internal Communication, and External CUstomer Communication including;
  • Coordination and steering of on-site Service activities.
  • Progress monitoring & reporting for all service cases. (both internal as well as towards the customer.)
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards to be reflected, briefing of on-site prosonal (both AVL staff and contractors).
  • Interface to customer, supplier, GLI HQ via e-case.
  • Clarify customer requirements during daily service task.
  • Technical lead for GLI system.
  • Provide feedback and information for continuous improvement.
• Meet Milestones and ensure the fulfilment of customer specific demands as well las region spedific regulations.
