Travel Expense Specialist (German-speaking)

AVL List GmbH, the world’s leading company for the development, simulation, and testing of powertrain systems, is building a new Shared Service Center in Hungary. For our location in Érd, we are looking for motivated colleagues who will handle the travel expense accounting for business travelers at our sites in Austria and Germany.
Hungarian candidates with very good German skills
You live in Hungary and have very good German skills (at least B2) as well as English skills (at least B1)? You would like to use your language skills in a professional context and further develop yourself in an international company? Perfect – our team is looking forward to meeting you!

Tasks:

• Reviewing travel expense reports in SAP Concur according to Austrian and German tax and internal company regulations
• Checking receipts (hotel, transportation, meals, etc.) for completeness and plausibility
• Clarifying questions with travelers or internal contacts
• Close cooperation with internal HR interfaces as well as departments such as Accounting and Controlling in Austria, Germany, and Hungary
• Documenting audit results and correcting reports if necessary
• Creating reports and evaluations
• Supporting the further development of travel expense processes and guidelines
• Participation in projects related to process improvement and digitalization within the Shared Service Center

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in travel expense accounting (knowledge of Austrian and/or German regulations is an advantage)
• Experience with SAP Concur is an advantage
• Knowledge in accounting or payroll is an advantage
• Completed commercial education (Matura, vocational school, or equivalent)
• Confident use of MS Office, ideally experience with SAP HCM
• Very good German skills (at least B2+), good English skills
• Accuracy, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility
