Team Leader General Ledger

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and coordinate General Ledger and related accounting activities within the SSC
• Manage and develop a team of accounting specialists
• Ensure accurate, timely and compliant execution of accounting processes and closing activities
• Drive process standardization, continuous improvement and automation
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
• Collaborate closely with local Finance teams, Corporate Accounting, Controlling and auditors
• Monitor KPIs, reporting and overall process performance

REQUIREMENTS

• 4–6+ years of experience in General Ledger, Asset Accounting or Financial Accounting, preferably in an SSC or multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, fixed asset accounting, internal controls, audit requirements and financial reporting
• Strong ERP expertise, preferably SAP FI/AA, including journal postings, reconciliations, asset master data, depreciation and closing processes
• Leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Risk-aware and control-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage deadlines under pressure
