System Development Engineer - Steering Systems

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • System development: Development and optimization of steering systems throughout the entire development cycle.
  • Technical implementation: Analysis and implementation of technical requirements in close coordination with mechanical, electronic and software teams.
  • System integration: Ensuring the integration of components and systems into the vehicle architecture.
  • Innovation management: development and implementation of new concepts and technologies, in particular by-wire technology, electromobility and automated driving.
  • Analysis and testing: carrying out system analyses, simulations and tests to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Technical documentation: Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and specifications

     

 

Requriments

  • Education: Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field.
  • Professional experience: More than 5 years of experience in the development of steering systems.
  • Specialized knowledge: Sound knowledge of vehicle dynamics, mechatronics and control systems.
  • Tools: Experience with relevant tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, CAD software or requirements management tools.
  • Personal strengths: Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and team spirit.
  • Languages: Business fluent in German and English.
