Python Developer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing new features for AVL Race Technology Toolchain, our self-developed (partly web based platform) tools that manage and analyze vehicle simulations
• Being part of an Agile development team, reviewing code and providing constructive feedback about the team’s contributions to the codebase(s)
• Capture and understand project requirements, define specifications, and to create robust, scalable, and testable software and system solutions

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Python, Pandas, NumPy, SciKit
• Experience with GitHub, Kafka, Kubernetes, JavaScript
• Knowledge of Web Development and Cloud experience is an advantage: JavaScript or TypeScript, React, Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and ownership attitude
