Lead Engineer Testing

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build up and manage (e.g team utilization, prioritization of projects, workload planning, and coordination activities) a testing team and provide continuous support and guidance
• Develop AI-supported testing solutions together with the methodology team in Graz
• Support in vehicle calibration activities
• Tasks and Resonsibility of the Testing Team:
• Independent planning/coordination of tests and test campaigns, including test resources in the project (vehicles,
• modifications, facilities, material, and test engineering manpower)
• Development of efficiency-enhancing measures for testing tasks
• Management of test engineering in the project 
• Preparation and commissioning of the test vehicle and measurement technology 
• Flashing control units, performing learning routines, and reading error memory 
• 1st level troubleshooting and documentation 
• Planning, scheduling, and supervising test vehicle modifications in the vehicle workshop 
• Planning, scheduling, and supervising vehicle tests in various test environments (e.g., emissions roller, roller, climate test benches, test track, public road)
• Conducting of vehicle measurements including calibration changes and pre-evaluation in alignment with the calibration engineer
• Ensuring measurement quality in vehicle tests 

REQUIREMENTS

• BSc or MSc degree
• Several years of experience in the calibration and validation of control unit functions
• Good understanding of different vehicle systems (powertrain, ADAS, chassis, E/E, etc.)
• INCA & Vector Tools, GitHubCopilot, Diagra knowledge
• English language knowledge, German language is an advantage
• Open-minded and proactive
• Able to think beyond boundaries
• Strong driver of change and innovation
• Passionate about AI and digital technologies
• Strong communication skills, team spirit, and interest in working in international teams, willingness to travel
