Lead Engineer Gasoline Calibration (Base and Emission Calibration)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technical supervision and mentoring as well as training of the engineers
• Development and implementation of methodology 
• Project management and coordination 
• Planning and execution of engine and vehicle development program 
• Calibration of engine control units (ECU) in development and serial production projects 
• Optimization of engine functions and controls according to the legislation and customer requirements regarding emission, fuel consumption, performance, OBD or drivability 
• Validation at all ambient conditions both in facility and in territory
• Analysis of results, preparation of recommendation, reporting for the customers 
• Supporting homologation and production start

PROFILE:

• Finished BSc or MSc study: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, vehicle engineering or mechatronics engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in calibration and / or thermodynamics 
• Excellent knowledge of combustion engines 
• Experience of leading projects and teams
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office and base of application software)
• Good English knowledge (advantage: German language knowledge) 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Capable of working independently as well as a part of large and small teams
