IT Systems Engineer - Data Manager

We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer to implement, maintain and support IT systems and organizational infrastructure, ensuring they are efficient, reliable and secure.

In this role, you will work with both hardware and software systems, assist with troubleshooting technical issues and collaborate with other teams to solve problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage, design and implement storage solutions
• Maintain and optimize IT infrastructure and backup systems
• Manage infrastructure applications (Networker, Avamar, Veeam)
• Automate processes and perform data analysis
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
• Handle system updates, patching, and security
• Maintain documentation

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of experience with storage systems
• Experience with Azure
• Backup tools experience is a plus
• Very good English and minimum basic German language knowledge
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented
• Willingness to travel (~10%) and on-call duty
