Data Manager

The IT Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting IT systems and organizational infrastructure, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and secure. The position will work on both hardware and software systems, assist with troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborate with other teams to solve technical problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement storage solutions (NetApp)
• Maintain and optimize IT infrastructure and backup systems (3rd level support)
• Manage infrastructure applications (Networker, Avamar, Veeam)
• Automate processes and perform data analysis
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
• Handle system updates, patching, and security
• Manage backup & disaster recovery processes
• Maintain documentation

REQUIREMENTS

• 2–5 years of experience with storage systems
• Strong NetApp knowledge
• Experience with Azure
• Backup tools experience is a plus
• Very good English and minimum basic German language knowledge
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented
• Willingness to travel (~10%) and on-call duty
