Battery System Development Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in our multi-national development and/or research projects for high voltage battery electric vehicles
• Design system level requirements for the entire battery system (e.g. battery cells, modules, cooling, electrical system etc.)
• Discuss technical requirements with internal partners / external customers
• Specify technical solutions to comply with requirements, standards and regulations
• Implementation of battery functions (energy, power, safety)
• Being up to date in latest battery technologies
• Support verification plan definition and test result analysis

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSc/MSc degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Vehicle or similar
• Experience in Battery technology or High Voltage systems or System engineering
• Experience in Matlab, Python is an advantage
• Fluency in written and spoken English (German advantage)
• Good communication/presentation skills, strong team player
