Job title:  E-drive Charging Development Engineer (m/f/d)

AVL is the world's largest privately owned and independent company for the development of powertrain systems with internal combustion engines, E-mobility applications as well as instrumentation and test systems.

As center of competence for Powertrain Software-, Function-Development and System-integration, AVL Software & Functions at its location Warsaw (Poland) is looking for the following support:

WAW - E-drive Charging Development Engineer (m/f/d) 

Your responsibilities:

• Software development for a charging station controller and for human machine interface
• Testing of Software and Charging Station System
• Creation of technical presentations
• Alignment with other departments

Your profile:

• Studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or similar
• Knowledge of OCPP (Json standard file format)
• Knowledge in CCS Charging Standard
• Experience with software development and Python 3 is a plus
• Knowledge in JavaScript is also an advantage
• Basic knowledge in battery charging of hybrid/e-vehicles
• Experience with software development and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming is a plus 
• Ability to communicate and work in a team and high analytical and conceptual skills
• Good knowledge of English, German will be a plus
