As center of competence for Powertrain Software-, Function-Development and System-integration, AVL Software & Functions at its location Warsaw (Poland) is looking for the following support:

 

WAW - Battery Pack E/E - Development Engineer (m/f/d) 

 

 
Your responsibilities:
  • Development of E/E projects from concept up to SOP
  • E/E functional accountability
  • Support for component owner in the development of parts at supplier
  • Component selection and creation of technical specifications
  • Preparation of test specifications and validation schedules for E/E components
  • Ensuring/defining battery pack electrical safety
  • Ensuring development quality and definition of respective measures (Requirements Engineering, review loops, document release, etc.)
  • Technical supplier management and collaboration (internal and external)
  • Supporting component integration and packaging at module and system level
  • Project planning
  • Compliance with time, cost and quality specification
Your profile:
  • Successfully finished studies in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, automation technology, vehicle technology
  • Extensive electrical knowledge
  • Knowledge of structure and functions of battery pack / battery management system
  • Several years of professional experience in E/E sub-projects in vehicle development or component design is an advantage
  • Experience in the automotive sector; ideally at an OEM or Tier 1 battery development company is an advantage
  • High degree of self-dependence and organizational skills
  • Self-learning capabilities
  • Analytical and conceptual capabilities
  • Good understanding of processes, regulations, test standards and specifications
  • Profound communication skills and ability to work in international team
  • Very good English skills
  • CAD design knowledge will be an advantage
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
  • Personality is more than anything else!
