Working Student/Intern/Thesis: LLM-Reverse-Engineering (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are a dynamic and innovative cyber security team committed to increase the security within the automotive industry. Our Mission in the Automotive Cybersecurity Department is to supports our customers by performing penetration tests of their products. This includes reverse engineering of firmware of automotive ECUs to understand vulnerabilities and develop exploits. To figure out how we can utilize the cutting-edge technology of LLMs to speed up this process, will be your responsibility. This will enable you to explore the world of unknown code. Currently we are seeking a proactive and independent student to join our enthusiastic team. 
 
•    Research and identify suitable LLM for reverse engineering
•    Conduct a preliminary evaluation of the identified LLMs
•    Integrate results into ghidra
•    Present the results to the team and support in integration
 

YOUR PROFILE:

• Enrolled student (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or similar
• Familiarity with C and assembler
• Good research skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
• Good communication skills to present the investigation results to the team
• Interest in reverse engineering. Basic understanding of ghidra is a plus
• Personality is more than anything else!
