Autonomous Driving Software Engineer

Autonomous Driving Software Engineers develop state of the art algorithms and functions for upcoming vehicles with advanced driver assistance and autonomous driving features as well as engineering software and tools to support efficient development of such software and features.

Description of daily responsibilities include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Developing and modifying ADAS functions in C/C++
• Surveying and developing state-of-the-art technologies/methods for Autonomous Driving
• Model-based algorithm/SW development in Matlab-Simulink environment
• Hand-coded algorithm/SW development whenever/wherever necessary (e.g. in  C/C++)
• Requirements engineering/management at system and/or component level
• Test case development and systematic Model-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing at system and/or component level
• Derives scenario definition files specific to the use cases for AD feature validation
