Development Engineer Embedded Software f/m/d

You will work in a research and development team with motivated people from different skill areas to develop products for the electric mobility sector. We focus on electronic products for industrial applications on the electric power train. This includes devices like battery testers and cell testers, among others. Your main task will be the development of embedded software on different software and processor platforms.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of products in the field of power electronics, especially for battery test and emulation
• Development of power electronics products and modules in real-time environments on different controller platforms
• Development of application software in embedded Linux
• Technical implementation as part of a development team, typically based on SCRUM methodology
• Execution of appropriate product and integration tests
• Design, implementation and testing of FW solutions on distributed systems with different computing architectures
• Coordination of FW developments across international development sites

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed studies (Unisversity of Applied Sciences/Technical University) in the field of computer technology, electronics, SW development or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in embedded system and software development
• High familiarity with C++ and the SW development process (eg. git) 
• Experienced in embedded Linux
• Experience with electronics and measurement
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
• Additional experience with real-time communication protocols (ETHERCAT, CAN, SPI) 
• Initiative in finding solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and spoken English skills

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €56,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
