Service Engineer f/m/d

Would you like to work in a customer environment where no two days are the same and your expertise is in demand? You will be responsible for the maintenance and calibration of highly specialized AVL measuring devices and systems as well as for carrying out service calls directly at the customer's site in Steyr. You will work closely with our AVL service hotline and the development department and provide our customers with expert advice on the use of our AVL products. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation and implementation of service assignments for customers
• Maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of measuring devices and systems, in particular exhaust gas measuring systems and particle measuring devices
• Interface to the AVL service hotline and the development team
• Creation of protocols, service reports and quality documents
• Advising customers on operation and application

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed training (Secondary Technical College, apprenticeship) in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering or a related field
• Experience in the maintenance, production or calibration of measuring devices/systems
• Experience in the automotive sector is an advantage
• High level of problem-solving skills
• Confident and friendly demeanor
• High degree of flexibility and ability to work in a team
• Very good knowledge of German is required, good knowledge of English is an advantage

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €44.940,00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
