Application Engineer (XX Application)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Defines and discuss applications together with Customer and Sales during sales phase (Support role)
• Describes application from the technical content in Application Requirement Specification (ARS)
• Develop or support application development teams to realize customer’s project based on ARS
• Delivers the optimal solutions satisfying customer demands and/or expectation based on AVL product/solution portfolio as well as customers’ tool-chain environment
• Provides technical materials/presentation of seminar and demonstration which BDM/SE lead
• Shares customer feedback (issue/problem, needs, solution, etc.) with peer group members including global application or solution team
• Performs realization of applications on simulators (if deemed needed) and installs applications on customer solution
• Documents the application for customer use
• Gives training to the customer for application use
• Involve in application projects and/or solution setup and secure final acceptance from customers
• Supports on marketing activities such as competitor analysis, market research, newsletters creation or localization, and demo events at customers, seminars and conferences

YOUR PROFILE:

Basic

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or related field (preferably engineering background such as mechanical, electrical/ electronic, mechatronics, SW engineering, etc.)
• Self-responsible, systematic and structured operation
• Team Collaboration
• Innovative and pro-active mindset
• Structured approach to work, analytical thinking, pronounced social skills and teamwork skills
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Basic knowledge of programming language: Javascript, CSS,HTML, Python 
• Basic knowledge of frontend programming framework in Javascript (preferred React.js in alternative any of: Vue,Angular,Next,Svelte)

Preferred

• Experience with RESTful API/Websockets
• Knowledge of NoSQL database (Redis, InfluxDB)
• Knowledge of backend programming in Go

Ideal

• Knowledge of Python data analysis library (Numpy, Scipy)
