Thesis - Advanced electric drive modeling using multi body dynamics
Master Thesis
In this thesis, the main focus will be on developing a highly accurate multibody simulation model of an electric drive unit. The simulation model will take into consideration all the relevant excitation sources, such as gears, E-motor and inverter, to ensure a comprehensive representation of the system's behavior. This will enable the simulation to accurately predict the dynamic and NVH behavior of the electric drive unit. During your thesis you will get the chance of learning different state of the art transmission simulation tools.
WHAT WE OFFER YOU:
- Execution of a literature study
- Development of transmission dynamic modeling techniques
- Evaluation of tool and performance through a study
- Calculation of relevant EDU dynamic and excitation parameters
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- Experience in transmission dynamic and FEM tools is appreciated
- Finite Element Software Basic Knowledge
- Excellen knowledge in German / English
- For the planned research your presence at our HQ in Graz is required!

The successful completion of the thesis is remunerated with a one-time fee of EUR €3.500,00 before tax.
