Technical Lead Product Development f/m/d
Together with the Group Product Manager (GPM) and Project Manager (PjM), the technical lead forms the management team for steering product development of a certain product group.
The technical lead is the highest technical authority to drive decisions on technical solutions that balance complexity, available resources, and time-to-market. In this position the technical lead will also closely work with suppliers, customers, and other 3rd parties. This includes the technical coordination and alignment with vendors of components and involved manufacturers.
The technical lead serves as the technical authority on projects within her/his product group including planning and evaluation of development efforts.
The technical lead is responsible for the technical realization within her/his product group.
He/She supports the process of transparent user requirements into technical specifications and clarification of customer requirements and needs with participation in on-site meetings.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as the technical authority on assigned development projects
- Supports planning of the development tasks and effort estimation
- Provides suggestions and solutions to resolve product-/project-related technical conflicts
- Supports in patent queries and files patent applications related to the product
- Manages the technical knowhow transfer between development and production
- Reviews and releases technical reports and other technically relevant documents
- Provides technical support to R&D team (if required)
YOUR PROFILE:
- University degree with technical/engineering background
- more than 5 years engineering experience in the field of power electronics
- Profound understanding of applicable standards and processes in power electronics
- Insight in the development or application of battery test systems of advantage
- Confidence in customer contacts and public presentation (conferences, symposia)
- Structured and independent way of working
- Proficient in business English
- Willingness to travel

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €65.000,00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
