Skill Team Leader Vehicle Benchmarking f/m/d





  • Disciplinary as well as technical leadership of the DHB Vehicle Benchmarking team with technical focus on complete vehicle analysis and evaluation of driving characteristics, energy consumption & energy management
  • Design and further development of the AVL benchmarking program considering the international market needs from AVL Sales with focus on technology, functions, operating strategies and their impact on efficiency, driving performance, driving characteristics and customer value
  • Design and further development of the technical team and all vehicle benchmarking methods, procedures and services
  • Support the roll-out of AVL benchmarking services in international AVL offices
  • Coordination of service portfolio presentations together with product management
  • Technical support for project acquisition and sales account management together with product management, participation in customer meetings and sales presentations
  • Close collaboration with all relevant AVL areas for system and component benchmarking, as well as system and subsystem development, calibration, verification and testing
  • Provide technical leadership Vehicle benchmarking innovations, technology and methodology enhancements Determine and execute related R&D projects




  • FH/TU mechanical engineering or automotive engineering
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a leading position in the area of complete vehicle development, evaluation or driving system, energy system development (project and/or line)
  • At least 5 years of experience in complete vehicle or vehicle systems analysis and benchmarking
  • Enthusiasm for automotive technology, development, trends and for technical innovation
  • Knowledge of market specific requirements for vehicle development
  • Strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills
  • Experience in working with OEM's worldwide
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • High willingness to travel

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €95.000,00. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
