Component Engineer - Electrical Components f/m/d
In the area of Electrics and Electronics (DE), we are looking for personalities who are looking for a challenge in the area of electrification and are supported in their tasks in order to advance the area of E/E together with us. We attach great importance to developing as a team and having fun at work in addition to the daily tasks.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assuming component responsibility for electrical components in various applications such as battery or fuel cell (fuses, relays, contactors, ...).
- Coordination and definition of hardware requirements with the customer as well as internal and external development partners
- Definition of HW architecture and assumption of responsibility for system integration
- Coordination between AVL development teams, customers and external hardware suppliers within the projects
- Close cooperation with the system, testing and electrical development teams during the entire project duration and during design and process verification
- Lead prototype and production suppliers through all project phases
- Internal and external reporting of project progress, problem handling in case of deviations or technical issues
- Coordination of investigations and derivation of measures in case of occurring deviations
- Assuming responsibility for adherence to development processes
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed studies at university/FH in the field of automotive engineering, electrical engineering / electronics or mechatronics.
- Several years of professional experience (>5 years) in the automotive environment preferred, ideally OEM or Tier 1 in electrical / electronics development
- Independent, systematic and structured way of working
- Good communication, organizational and teamwork skills
- Very good English skills and enthusiasm for international cooperation
- Knowledge in series development of E/E components

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €61.000,00. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
