Calibration Engineer for Compressed Ignited Engine & Fuel Cell Systems (f/m/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• ECU application of functions from the field of application of diesel engine and fuel cell drives
• Planning, execution and evaluation of dynamic calibration on test benches and in vehicles
• Optimization and validation under all climatic conditions on test drives (heat, altitude, cold)
• Dealing with the current requirements in diesel development (EU7)
• Application of model-based methods, both in measurement data generation (DoE) and in calibration (model-based approaches SiL/MIL/HiL/VTB)
• Calibration of powertrain control units (engine and vehicle control units) 
• Planning, execution and evaluation of stationary and dynamic application on engine test benches, chassis dynamometers and powertrain test benches as well as in model-based development environments (HiL/SiL)
• Robustness tests for production tolerances, fuel qualities and country-specific requirements
• Documentation of development work and presentation of results
• Internal communication regarding planning and organization of application tasks
• Communication with customers for the purpose of presenting analyses and results

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, technical physics or technical chemistry
• Knowledge of thermodynamics for combustion engines
• Interest in powertrain technology (engine, FCS and hybrid drives) and vehicles
• Knowledge of electronics, computer science and control engineering
• Analytical thinking and understanding of complex interrelationships
• Independent, goal-oriented way of working
• Experience with application tools (e.g. INCA, Concerto, DiagRa) preferred
• Good communication, organizational and teamwork skills
• English fluent as well as site language fluent (e.g. German) or willingness to learn the language
• Car driver's license
• Willingness to travel

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €53,200.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
